The cabinet is decorated with red mahogany veneers

Solid Enclosure

The cabinet is made of 21mm medium density fiberboard and the front panel is thicken to ensure stinky enclosure. The surface is decorated with 1mm mahogany veneers and polished with sleek linear design.

1.1” Tweeter Unit

This tweeter unit adopts thin and soft fibre

for diaphragm with 28mm-diameter voice coil to

reduce distortion caused by mid-range vibration.

With the non-resonance design, it can well capture

the sound spot and bring more accurate sound.

7” Mid-bass Unit

The cone of mid-bass speaker unit adopts Kevlar

synthetic fiber with good damping and designed

with many creases. Working with the durable rubber

surround, this mid-bass unit handles 40Hz low

frequency, bringing you deep and melodious sound.

Crossover Design

The high-pass path adopts a three-level filter made of Metallized Polypropylene Film (MKP) capacitors. The mid-bass path is a two-level filter made of professional non-pole capacitor and large oxygen-free copper (OFC) inductance coil. After rigorous testing and adjustment, the phase distortion is reduced to a minimum.

Rear Bass Reflex Design

The bass reflex vent is part of this all-in-one enclosure

and efficiently widen the low frequency so as to

offer sonorous bass.

24K Gilding Terminal

The two pairs of binding posts are made by OFC

and gilded with 24K gold. They are covered with

transparent sheath for dust-proof protection

and abrasion. It can be connected

with two amplifiers at the same time.

1. Appearance characteristics

The box of Tongdi No. 9 is made of high-density imported MDF sheet, the surface is covered with mahogany wood veneer, and then coated with multiple layers of piano lacquer, which is heavily ground and polished. The color of the box of the whole speaker is bright red, bright but not vulgar, charming but not demonic, bright and atmospheric, with clear texture, reflecting a beautiful halo in the light. The edge is designed with rounded corners, which is gentle yet sharp. Although the volume of the whole speaker is small, it is full of volume. The net weight of a single speaker is 12.8KG. When you tap the box with your knuckles, the sound is crisp and steady; the touch is delicate and smooth, with a feeling of warmth like jade.

2. Unit selection

The tweeter is a 1.1-inch silk dome tweeter, using a thin and soft fabric diaphragm, and the diameter of the voice coil is 28mm, which makes the magnetic steel of the speaker stronger, and the wire diameter of the voice coil is relatively thicker. Good overload performance and higher power capacity. It can effectively suppress the nonlinear distortion caused by the vibration of the mid-section frequency division. The high-end frequency smooth response of its sound can reach 28KHz, the sound is delicate and smooth, bright and transparent, without the slightest harshness.

The mid-bass adopts a 7-inch "wrinkled leather" mid-bass unit. Its super-large and super-strong natural magnetic steel, completely symmetrical magnetic circuit plus short-circuit ring technology and many other patented designs can perfectly drive a large copper-clad aluminum voice coil with a size of 42mm. , to improve the sensitivity of the unit and the tolerance of high power, so that the second harmonic and multiple harmonic distortion of the speaker can be effectively controlled and significantly reduced. The corrugated-skin pine-pressed paper cone mixed with Kevlar synthetic fiber and the low-sound dyed rubber yoke ring have the advantages of good rigidity, good flexibility, good deformation tolerance, and perfect transient state, which can effectively suppress the medium and high frequency in the paper cone The split vibration on the top of the speaker reduces the distortion of the speaker in the mid-high frequency, while allowing the speaker to easily dive to 40Hz. 3. Circuit Design

The classic Butterworth crossover design is adopted: the treble channel is a third-order Butteros filter circuit, and the mid-bass channel is a second-order Butterus filter circuit. Fine-tuning, the frequency divider integrates each frequency band very well, and its full frequency domain frequency response curve is a relatively flat ideal curve.

The capacitors selected for the frequency division circuit are all military-grade MKP polystyrene capacitors for high-fidelity audio, single-core 5N oxygen-free copper thick wire inductors, and multi-core 5N oxygen-free copper speaker wires. The box compartment is filled with an appropriate amount of special sound-absorbing cotton, which eliminates the sound deterioration, box vibration and standing wave staining that may be caused by various reasons, and fully guarantees the accuracy of the crossover circuit and the natural harmony of the actual listening sense.
