High Fidelity Audio Crossover

The high-pass path adopts a three-level Metallized Polypropylene Film (MKP) capacitors. The mid-bass path adopts two-level filter made of professional non-pole capacitor and large oxygen-free copper (OFC) inductance coil. All of them do good characteristics of consistent performance and quality build.

Rear Bass Reflex Design

The bass reflex vent at the back is all-in-one design with the cabinet and also smooth & sleek to reduce sound coloration for better low frequency.

External Design

TD-3 adopts black and red external design with smooth and linear surface. The front panel is made of 50mm medium density fibreboard and the sides are 25mm to form a solid enclosure. It is black metal painted on the front and decorated with rosewood veneers on sides. The front panel is designed as two little stairs with the treble unit cave-in, to make sure the sound producing points of treble and mid-bass units are on the same level and reduce phase gap. TD-3 adopts all-in-one designed bass reflex vent on the back panel, with two pairs of OFC 24K gilding terminals.

Internal Design

The 1.1 inches treble unit is a result of global audio minds and Tonewinner’s designers. The dome-shaped diaphragm is made by thin film to reduce distortion caused by mid-range crossover vibration. The 7 inches mid-bass unit adopts Kevlar synthetic fiber with good damping. Working with the patented durable rubber surround, this mid-bass unit handles as low as 40Hz low frequency, bringing you deep and melodious sound. To achieve the best performance, all the speaker drivers pairing together are tested to make sure 0.1% difference or error.
